Eamon Judge, retired Executive Director, Global Engineering at Eli Lilly and Company, has been appointed to the judging panel for the Pharma Industry Awards 2026. A chemical engineer by training, he brings a career in pharmaceutical manufacturing and strategic leadership, begun in 1980, to the assessment of entries.

Eamon Judge graduated from University College Dublin with a Bachelor's degree (Hons) in Chemical Engineering and joined Eli Lilly in Kinsale, Cork, in 1980. During his career with Lilly he held many operational and strategic management roles, including as a member of the senior management team at the Lilly Kinsale manufacturing site. He also took assignments at Lilly's Corporate HQ, where he was responsible for strategic planning of the company's expansion activities.

Beyond Lilly, Eamon Judge has served on the Board of BioPharmaChem Ireland. In recent years he was President of the Ireland Affiliate of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering, and he chaired its European Affiliate Board. In 2022, he was chosen as Ireland's Pharma Leader of the Year.

That combination of site level operations, corporate expansion planning and industry body leadership gives the panel a perspective grounded in how pharmaceutical facilities are built, scaled and run, relevant to entries that demonstrate engineering rigour, operational excellence and growth.

The Pharma Industry Awards 2026 gala will take place on 26th November at the Johnstown Estate Hotel.
