Sustainability continues to shape the future of Ireland’s life sciences sector, with organisations increasingly integrating environmental and social responsibility into the way they operate and grow. Trend Technologies has been recognised for its contribution in this area, receiving the Sustainability Award at the Life Sciences Industry Awards 2026. 

Held last May 28th, 2026 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Santry, the awards celebrate excellence across Irish innovation, recognising achievements spanning pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biotechnology, manufacturing, and laboratory solutions.

Trend Technologies, a global contract manufacturer serving the healthcare and medical device sectors, was recognised for strengthening its ESG programme throughout 2025 and embedding sustainability across multiple areas of the business.

This wider approach reflects the growing expectation across life sciences that organisations deliver measurable progress while maintaining performance, quality, and long-term resilience.

Judges noted a strong execution-focused sustainability programme at Trend Technologies, with clear progress across energy efficiency, waste reduction, and operational improvements. The integration of employee wellbeing and community engagement further strengthens the organisation’s long-term sustainability approach.

Recognition in this category highlights how sustainability is increasingly becoming a driver of innovation and competitiveness across the sector, creating value not only through environmental improvements but through stronger workplaces and more connected communities.
